Discovering Geothermal HVAC systems

The word geothermal has two parts, GEO ( Earth ) & THERMAL (Heat ), we can state that it is an HVAC system that capitalizes on drawing heat from a building and depositing it to earth. In doing so it uses significantly lesser  amount of energy  compared to a conventional  HVAC system.

How does it works?
The Geothermal HVAC concept works like this, we take the largely constant temperature of the Earth beneath our feet and start from that point to begin heating or cooling our home or business.

What does geothermal system consists of?
Mainly of two or three basic components, the earth coupled portion (also known as collector), the load portion (the object or medium to be heated or cooled) & usually a third portion that provides the remainder energy for cooling or heating usually a mechanical system.

So what are the benefits of installing this technology?

Lower Operating Cost
Quiet Operation
Environment Friendly
Clean and Safe
Very long Life Cycle

Geothermal systems require little maintenance. When installed properly, which is critical, the buried loop can last for generations. The unit’s fan, compressor, and pump are housed indoors, protected from the harsh weather conditions, so they tend to last for many years, often decades. Usually, periodic checks, filter changes and annual coil cleaning are the only required maintenance.
Geothermal HVAC Systems are becoming common features of Eco-friendly homes & industries as a part of the green building movement.
Geothermal heating and cooling systems are the most energy efficient HVAC systems in the world today. Less is more; simple is better.
They work with nature and not against it,

Does this make sense?  Let me know what you think…
